Students Vow to Work for Plan’s Success

The student body of the University College of Cape Coast has expressed its “heartfelt gratitude” to Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah for launching the Seven-Year Development Plan. In a message sent through Defence Minister Kofi Baako, who is in charge of civic education in higher educational institutions, the students declared: “We are resolved to assist in the successful implementation of the Plan for the realisation of the socialist objects of the Party.” Meanwhile, other messages from organisations and individuals congratulating Osagyefo on launching the Plan have been received at Flagstaff House and the Party National Head-quarters Secretariat in Accra. The Greater Accra Regional steering committee of the Party, on behalf of the chiefs and people of the area, hailed Osagyefo and expressed the people’s willingness to contribute to the successful implementation of the Plan for prosperity, peace and happiness. “May Osagyefo’s thoughts and ideals blossom for the glory of African Unity and humanity”, the committee added.
Master-Piece
The chiefs and people of Ahafo-Ano in Ashanti described Osagyefo’s address during the launching of the Plan as a “master-piece” They pledged their unflinching support to Osagyefo, the Party and the Government. The chiefs and Wulomei of the Ga Mashi traditional council also congratulated Osagyefo on launching the Plan.
