REQUEST FOR A COPY OF THE REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE APPOINTED TO INVESTIGATE THE CAUSE OF U.S.T. STUDENTS’ DEMONSTRATIONS 22ND AND 23RD MARCH, 1973.
Thank you for your letter No.SRC/VC/34 of 9th May, 1973, concerning the above subject.
The Chairman himself is out of the country at the moment but the contents of your letter will be brought to the notice of the University Council at its meeting on 25th May for consideration and appropriate action.
Concerning the Chairman’s alleged promise that a copy of the Johnson Report would be released to you, I have already in a letter to him explained the misunderstanding and I am pleased to have your confirmation in writing.
