On behalf of the Ghana Association of Catholic Teachers in Higher Institutions, we wish to congratulate the National Liberation Council for the successful overthrow of the regime of Kwame Nkrumah.

We are pleased to have the assurance of the Council that our Higher Educational Institutions are to be conducted in accordance with our religious principles, without undue pressure and interference, that we may train our students in the love and fear of God, that they may be obedient to parents and superiors, and good citizens of Ghana. 

We promise our whole-hearted co-operation with the aims of the National Liberation Council and pray that their efforts may be crowned with success.
