DISTURBANCES AT THE KUMASI UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY 

I am directed by the Chairman of the National Liberation Council to inform you that at a recent meeting of the Council it was decided to appoint the following Board of Enquiry to investigate the causes of the student demonstrations in the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi as well as the allegations which have been made against the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. R.P. Baffour:

(1) Mr. Justice Manyo-Plange –  Chairman 

(2) Nr. S. Harshell of Messrs Pannel Fitzpatrick Graham & Crewdson, Chartered Accountant (P. 0. Box 1219, Accra) – Member 

(3) Dr. N.0. Anim, University College of Cape Coast  – Member. 

Detailed terms of reference are being considered at present and these will be communicated to you as soon as possible.
