Re-Apology to University Council by some S.R.C. members for the “MARCH CRISIS” 

At the specially convened J.C.R. meeting of this Hall, on the 16th. March, 1971, the question of whether some individuals in the S.R.C. should render any apology to the University Council as had been demanded, was brought up for discussion. The outcome of this meeting was a unanimous decision on the following points: 

1. a) that the attempt to single out certain individual leaders of the S.R.C. and make scape-goats of them is an abominable practice and should be condemned. 
2. b) that we have complete faith in the leaders that WE elected and strongly deplore attempts to make nonsense of that Democratic exercise by the authorities. 
3. c) that WE do not see WHY there should be any false APOLOGIES ON A DEMONSTRATION WE KNOW TO HAVE BEEN JUSTIFIED! The University authorities would do well to stop their unending efforts to shift the blame on the Student Body always. 

Once again WE proclaim our staunch support for the MARCH DEMONSTRATION!
